"If the whole world followed you, would you be pleased with where you took it?"--Neale Donald Walsch, Author
Health should be the most important aspect of everyone’s life. Without health you have nothing. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, how many possessions, without health you cannot enjoy the fruits of your hard labour.
In saying that, who has time in this day and age to dedicate time to gyms and working out?
Fitness programs should be easily adapted into your daily routine. If they aren’t they are a waste of time.
As an Olympian, I have learned that time is of the essence. I have made effectiveness and efficiency a way of life. As a Gold Medal Olympian, I have had to go one step further.
In my eyes everyone is an Olympian. Everybody has their own Olympic Games, and life is your Olympic Final.
There are no rehearsals in life. You don’t get a second chance. I had 5 chances to achieve my dreams, but the biggest dream of all is to live a long and healthy life. And you only get one shot at that.
I have learned over the past almost 4 decades, that there are many ways to achieve a healthy life. I have also learned that there is much deception.
I believe in a complete healthy lifestyle in all aspects of one's life - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Each aspect works together to create a whole. When a person is in great physical shape, they feel great, and more effectively handle the ups and downs of life. When you are fit, you feel great and get the most out of your life. When a person is healthy, they feel more confident, have more energy, and are able to accomplish and achieve more.
It is my duty in life to pass on what I have learned so that I too can look back and be pleased with where I have taken you.
